Jakarta, March 4 -- State oil and gas firm PT Pertamina will reduce aviation fuel prices at 37 airports starting March 18 to support the government's initiative to reduce airfares during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr periods.

"As a state-owned enterprise (SOE), Pertamina will always be present to serve the community to ensure that energy, including aviation fuel for homecoming trips, remains available," Vice President Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, confirmed here on Tuesday.

Pertamina's aviation fuel price adjustment will be implemented at various airports managed by state airport operator Angkasa Pura.
