Karawang, Jawa Barat, June 30 -- Pertamina NRE, a subsidiary of Indonesia's state-owned energy company Pertamina, has shown interest in participating in the development of nuclear power plants (NPPs) in the country.
The plan was revealed by Pertamina NRE CEO John Anis after attending the groundbreaking ceremony for an electric vehicle battery project in Karawang, West Java, on Sunday, June 29.
"We always want to contribute," Anis remarked, highlighting the company's ambition to be involved in Indonesia's nuclear energy development.
