Jakarta, April 18 -- President director of state-owned port operator Pelindo, Arif Suhartono, has decided to temporarily limit the entry and exit of containers at Tanjung Priok Port in Jakarta until container traffic returns to normal levels.

"For the time being, we have decided to limit the number of containers that will enter and exit the port until the situation normalizes," he announced here on Friday.

In addition, Pelindo has temporarily halted ship operations to allow the terminal to focus on ground operations.
