Jakarta, April 25 -- Indonesia's Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni underlined three aspects that need to be considered in efforts to reduce forest and land fires during the 2025 Forest and Land Fire Jamboree in Riau on Friday.

"Based on data, thank God, nationally, the forest and land fire trend has continued to decline. From the declining trend, I learned that there are at least three factors," he informed.

In a statement received here, he said that the first aspect is collaboration and coordination between stakeholders.

According to the minister, the government along with the National Armed Forces (TNI), National Police (Polri), and other stakeholders are making efforts to anticipate forest and land fires.
