Jakarta, March 22 -- Indonesia's National Police announced that the extradition of fugitive Paulus Tannos from Singapore in the e-KTP procurement corruption case would take at least four months.

"From our coordination with the Singaporean counterpart, the extradition takes at least four months or more due to the legal process," Head of the International Crimes Section of the National Police's International Relations Division (Divhubinter) Senior Commissioner Ricky Purnama stated on Friday.

He remarked that Singaporean authorities have a 45-day detention period to respond to Tannos' extradition request from the Indonesian government.
