Jakarta, March 28 -- State-owned railway company PT KAI reported that passenger occupancy at Pasar Senen Station, Jakarta, on Friday, or D-3 of Eid, reached 108 percent, with a total of 22,323 passengers recorded at 8:00 a.m. local time.

"Pasar Senen Station has the highest passenger occupancy with 22,323, followed by Gambir Station with 17,201 passengers. The number is still increasing," KAI Public Relations Manager for Operational Area (Daop) 1 Jakarta Ixfan Hendriwintoko remarked in Jakarta on Friday.

Hendriwintoko attributed the 108 percent occupancy to the dynamic nature of train passenger movements.
