Jakarta, June 30 -- Indonesian House of Representatives' (DPR's) Commission I convened a hearing with Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono to discuss escalating tensions in the Middle East and the government's efforts to evacuate Indonesian citizens from conflict-prone areas.

Commission I Deputy Chair Budisatrio Djiwandono emphasized the urgency of the meeting, noting that its results could directly affect national interests and the safety of Indonesian nationals abroad.
