Jakarta, July 24 -- The House of Representatives (DPR) has established a partnership with the ANTARA News Agency to expand news coverage of parliamentary programs and activities.

The cooperation was formalized via a memorandum of understanding (MoU), signed by DPR secretary-general Indra Iskandar and ANTARA News Agency president director Akhmad Munir at the Parliamentary Complex in Jakarta on Thursday.

"As the people's representative, the DPR has the duty and responsibility to inform the public about all our activities, including the processes of legislation, budgeting, and supervision, in a transparent manner," DPR Deputy Speaker Cucun Ahmad Syamsurizal said in Jakarta.
