Jakarta, June 27 -- The Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) has announced plans to meet with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday (June 30) to discuss escalating tensions in the Middle East following the recent Iran-Israel conflict.

"We, at Commission I, will hold a meeting with the Foreign Affairs Ministry to discuss the issue on Monday," Deputy Chair of DPR's Commission I, Sukamta, told the media at the Parliamentary Complex in Jakarta on Thursday (June 26).

He explained that the meeting would cover a wide range of developments in the Middle East, including the evacuation of Indonesian citizens from conflict-affected areas.
