Jayapura, July 30 -- The Papua government, through the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Innovation Agency (Baperida), partnered with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) for advanced training on child protection systems and consultations regarding special protection planning guidelines.

Head of the Socio-Cultural Division of Papua's Baperida, Makmur Malino, stated in Jayapura on Tuesday that the training aims to reduce violence against children and to strengthen cross-sectoral cooperation in fulfilling children's rights across the province.
