Jakarta, Dec. 11 -- Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed appreciation for Indonesia's efforts to improve its national health sector.

He made the statement in a joint statement with President Prabowo Subianto during the Indonesian leader's visit to Pakistan from December 8-9, 2025.

In a joint statement released by Indonesia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, Pakistan welcomed Indonesia's steps to strengthen its national health sector.

Together with President Prabowo, PM Shehbaz agreed to expand cooperation through human health development, health services, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, health technology, including digital health.
