Jakarta, Nov. 26 -- The Indonesian government has so far established 70,115 Legal Aid Posts (Posbankum) across villages in 24 provinces, according to Law Minister Supratman Andi Agtas.

Speaking at the Peacemaker Justice Awards 2025 in Jakarta on Wednesday, he outlined that those posts provide four main services: legal information and consultation, legal aid and advocacy, mediation, and lawyer referral.

Through the posts, a total of 3,839 legal services have been provided by paralegals and village heads acting as peace mediators.
