Jakarta, Dec. 5 -- The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) will expand the beneficiaries of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program to include older adults, scavengers, street children, and all poor communities, aligning with President Prabowo Subianto's directive.

BGN Deputy Head for Investigation and Public Communication Nanik Sudaryati Deyang said in a statement here on Friday that the policy is outlined in the Presidential Regulation Number 115 of 2025.

"He wants all poor people, people with disabilities, older adults, children who have dropped out of school, street children, child scavengers, all to become MBG beneficiaries," she remarked.
