Jakarta, Dec. 8 -- Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) unveiled a Financial Literacy Guide for people with disabilities on Monday, in collaboration with the National Disability Commission, Ministry of Social Affairs, and National Development Planning Agency.
OJK Executive for Market Conduct, Education, and Consumer Protection Friderica Widyasari Dewi said the guide follows last year's "Equal and Empowered Disability" initiative, aiming to expand inclusive financial education nationwide.
The regulator has issued rules mandating equal access for people with disabilities, including POJK 22/2023 on consumer protection and POJK 3/2023 on financial literacy and inclusion programs in the financial sector.
