Jakarta, March 9 -- The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) has expressed appreciation for national oil and gas company Pertamina's plan to have its property subsidiary, Patra Jasa, develop an international research center in Indonesia's future capital, Nusantara.

OIKN's Deputy for Funding and Investment, Agung Wicaksono, stated that the energy giant's subholding plans to establish the project in an area designated as Nusantara's research and innovation hub.

"This project is expected to serve as a catalyst for the development of research and innovation ecosystems in the region," he noted, as cited from a statement in Jakarta on Sunday.
