Denpasar, March 27 -- The management of the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar, Bali, has announced a temporary 24-hour closure of flight operations on account of the Day of Silence (Nyepi), which falls on Saturday (March 29, 2025).

The airport's general manager, Ahmad Syaugi Shahab, said that the temporary suspension will be in effect from 6 a.m. Central Indonesian Time (UTC+8) on March 29 to 6 a.m. Central Indonesian Time (UTC+8) on March 30.

"During this period, we will temporarily stop all flight service activities, both domestic and international, except for flights that are medical evacuation and emergency flights," he informed here on Thursday.
