Penajam Paser Utara, Dec. 18 -- Indonesia Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) has confirmed that the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) in East Kalimantan will be ready to function as Indonesia's Political Capital in 2028.

"All development work at IKN is aimed at ensuring that IKN is ready to operate as the Political Capital in 2028," said IKN Authority Secretary Bimo Adi Nursanthyasto when asked about the progress of IKN development in Sepaku, Penajam Paser Utara, on Thursday.
