North Penajam Paser, July 12 -- The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) has reaffirmed its commitment to curbing prostitution in Indonesia's future capital city-currently under construction in East Kalimantan-by urging accommodation businesses to enforce stricter rules at their establishments.
"We are tightening the noose on prostitution in Nusantara," the authority's Deputy for Social and Cultural Affairs and Community Empowerment, Alimuddin, stated in North Penajam Paser District, East Kalimantan, on Saturday.
Alimuddin made this statement in response to recent reports of a rise in prostitution activities in the new capital area.
