Nusantara, March 30 -- Indonesia's future capital city, Nusantara, being developed in parts of East Kalimantan Province, remains open to public visits during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period, a government official said.
"The public is welcome to visit Nusantara City during holiday season, including on Eid day," Troy Pantouw, a public communication officer at the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN), said in North Penajam Paser, East Kalimantan, on Sunday.
He noted that during this period, the Nusantara Central Government District (KIPP) is open to visitors from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. local time daily.
"We have readied security teams in Nusantara's KIPP to ensure greater comfort for visitors," Pantouw stated.
