Jakarta, July 16 -- Indonesia's Trade Ministry, through its Trade Attache at Indonesia's Permanent Mission (PTRI) in Geneva, reported that Nusantara coffee secured US$7.61 million (about Rp123 billion) in potential transactions at the Geneva World of Coffee (WoC) exhibition.
Trade Attache at PTRI Geneva, Aritta Gracia Girsang, noted that the rich flavor of Indonesian coffee is already well-recognized among European consumers, particularly in Switzerland, which is among the leading coffee hubs in Europe.
"This country is one of the biggest importers of green beans and, at the same time, one of the largest exporters of roasted coffee in the region," she noted in a statement from Jakarta on Wednesday.
