Rote Ndao, NTT, June 3 -- The National Salt Industry Center (K-SIGN), set to be developed in Rote Ndao District, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, could generate over 26 thousand job opportunities, Marine Affairs and Fisheries Minister Sakti Wahyu Trenggono stated.

"Honestly, I am very impressed with this area's potential, as I believe that more than 26,600 people will get jobs here," he remarked in Rote Ndao on Tuesday.

Trenggono expressed optimism that K-SIGN would bring about far-reaching economic benefits to the district, extending beyond direct employment opportunities.
