Jakarta, Feb. 17 -- North Jakarta is currently running a pilot project to test the urban waste management system in Jakarta province.
"Hope that this action will inspire, strengthen the synergy, and also can participate in various elements of society to manage waste in Jakarta better, more integrated, and environmentally friendly," Jakarta acting governor Teguh Setyabudi said at the North Jakarta Mayor's Office on Monday.
He added that the hard work and synergy of all parties can make Jakarta one of the national pilot areas with effective, sustainable, and collaboration-based urban waste management.
