Jakarta, June 9 -- The Indonesian National Alms Agency (Baznas), through its Food Bank program, distributed 2,500 buffet-style meal portions to victims of a fire that broke out in a residential area in North Jakarta.

Baznas' Head of Distribution and Utilization, Saidah Sakwan, stated that the food aid, delivered on Saturday (June 7), reflects the agency's humanitarian commitment to supporting people in times of crisis.

"We hope this assistance will ease the survivors' burden and ensure their access to nutritious meals during this emergency," Sakwan noted in her office's statement cited here on Monday.
