Palu, C Sulawesi, April 17 -- Deputy Minister of Human Rights, Mugiyanto, emphasized the importance of preventing violence and criminalization in resolving agrarian conflicts.

"It is necessary to pay attention to preventing violence and criminalization in the resolution of agrarian conflicts," he stated during the workshop "Developing the Roadmap for the Agrarian Conflict Resolution (PKA) Task Force" here on Thursday.

He explained that violence only deepens trauma and perpetuates cycles of prolonged hostility, while criminalization often targets vulnerable groups and worsens inequality.
