Jakarta, March 14 -- Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi on Friday said that he has not received any official application for granting a permit for the establishment and operation of Indonesia Airlines.

"We have not received an official application for Indonesia Airlines operations," he informed in Jakarta on Friday.

He made the statement in response to the emergence of the Indonesia Airlines Group (INA) as a new airline.

Unlike the majority of local airlines that focus on domestic flights, INA will follow a premium concept and focus on international routes.

This airline is backed by Calypte Holding Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based company engaged in the energy, agriculture, and aviation sectors.
