Jakarta, Nov. 24 -- The number of cases of atypical progressive acute kidney injury in children has not increased in the past two weeks, Health Ministry spokesperson Mohammad Syahril informed on Thursday.

"Since two weeks ago until now, there have been no additional cases. This is the result of a joint effort, where there have been no additional cases and no deaths," Syahril said at a webinar on the management of acute kidney injury, which was followed from Jakarta.

Currently, there are 11 patients undergoing treatment for acute kidney failure at the National Central General Hospital Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) Jakarta, he added.
