Jakarta, April 13 -- The Ministry of Health ensured the temporary suspension of the Anesthesiology Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) of Padjajaran University (Unpad) at Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung did not disrupt specialist health service at the hospital.

According to the ministry, the suspension was part of an effort to evaluate the education system.

In a statement on Saturday, the ministry's Head of Health Communication and Public Service Bureau, Aji Muhawarman, said the suspension aimed to conduct a comprehensive evaluation and improvements in the specialist doctor education system, especially those organized by Unpad at RSHS.
