Manado, Jan. 12 -- The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has warned that nine districts and cities in North Sulawesi are at risk of extreme weather.
"Based on an analysis of atmospheric dynamics, we are currently monitoring several weather-related phenomena affecting the North Sulawesi region," said Head of the Sam Ratulangi Meteorological Station in Manado, Dhira Utama, here on Monday.
He said extreme weather conditions expected to persist until Tuesday (1/13) could affect the Cities of Manado and Bitung, as well as the Districts of Minahasa, North Minahasa, and South Minahasa.
Extreme weather is also forecast to occur in the Districts of North Bolaang Mongondow, Sitaro Islands, Sangihe Islands, and Talaud Islands...
