Denpasar, Bali, July 8 -- Several flights at the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali, previously affected by the Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki eruption, have resumed operations as of Tuesday.

"As of Tuesday afternoon, 18 previously delayed or canceled flights have resumed operation," airport general manager Ahmad Syaugi Shahab noted in a statement on Tuesday.

On Monday, Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki in East Flores District, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), erupted again, sending a volcanic ash column reaching 18 thousand meters above the summit.

This eruption caused 24 flight cancellations and several delays on the Labuan Bajo, Australia, Singapore, and South Korea routes, Shahab explained.
