Jakarta, Aug. 23 -- Deputy Head of the Hajj Organizing Agency (BP Haji), Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, confirmed that the agency's transition into the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will prioritize integrity and competence in its new structure and governance.

"The President emphasized the importance of integrity and competence. So, not all employees will be immediately transferred. There will be a selection process that takes into account track records and integrity," said Simanjuntak, here on Saturday.

He explained that the existing structures under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, such as the Head of Hajj Division at the provincial and district levels, will be transferred to the new structure at the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
