Jakarta, July 2 -- Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, has said that his ministry is pushing for the effective use of opportunities for job creation within the country.

"We have to optimize all of our opportunities," he stressed after attending a working meeting with Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) on Wednesday.

He delivered the remarks in response to a statement made by Minister for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI), Abdul Kadir Karding, on overseas jobs being a logical alternative amid the shrinking of domestic job vacancies.

According to Yassierli, opportunities for job creation in Indonesia can be realized through President Prabowo Subianto's national priority programs.
