Jakarta, Aug. 7 -- Secretary general of the Ministry of Manpower, Cris Kuntadi, has emphasized the need for collaboration between the government and industry to develop superior and adaptive human resources (HR) to maintain national competitiveness amid rapid digital transformation.

In an official statement received in Jakarta on Wednesday, he said that development in the digital era will not rely solely on technological sophistication, but also on the readiness and quality of human resources.

"Digital transformation must place people at the center of every policy and innovation. A people-centered approach is the main foundation of future employment strategies," he added.
