Indonesia, July 30 -- The district government of Natuna, Riau Islands province, has formed a task force to speed up the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program and support its smooth implementation in the region.
Natuna district secretary Boy Wijanarko said in Natuna on Tuesday that the task force was formed as a follow-up to a circular letter issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on the acceleration of the MBG program in the region.
"The formation of this task force is based on the direction of the central government, specifically through the circular letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs, for local governments to play an active role in accelerating the implementation of the MBG program," he informed.
