Jakarta, July 31 -- The government confirmed that the Free Health Checkup (CKG) program, targeting 53.8 million students, will be rolled out on August 4, coinciding with the start of the new academic year.

Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated in an online press conference that since its launch in February 2025, some 16.4 million people have utilized the facility, with a daily participation rate of 280 thousand to 300 thousand.

Regarding the program's implementation in schools, he expected it to be carried out in 282 thousand educational institutions, from primary to high schools and their madrasa counterparts, as well as in People's School (Sekolah Rakyat).
