Jakarta, Nov. 25 -- Music legend Iwan Fals, through his song "Guru Oemar Bakrie," highlighted an issue that continues to attract public attention: the welfare of teachers and their service to students and Indonesian society.

"Making people's minds like Habibie's, but why is Mr. Oemar Bakrie's salary as if it has been cut," the lyrics suggest that teachers' hard work in shaping the nation's future is often undervalued.
