Karawang, West Java, June 29 -- President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that building a nation is a long, demanding journey that requires perseverance and sacrifice.

"Nation-building is a long march," he said at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Integrated Electric Vehicle (EV) Battery Industry Ecosystem project in Karawang on Sunday.

He noted that every country follows its own path, citing China as an example of a nation that endured a difficult road to development.

Indonesia, too, has faced a prolonged struggle-from its fight for independence to realizing the ideals of justice, prosperity, and freedom from poverty and hunger, Prabowo said.
