Jakarta, Sept. 12 -- Muhammadiyah has launched the Palestine Peacebuilding Lab program to strengthen the capacity of Palestinian youth through skills development, knowledge sharing, and collaborative peace initiatives.

As part of the program, a Muhammadiyah delegation visited the Community Peace Center in Amman, Jordan, on Thursday (September 11).

They were welcomed by the Head of the Jordanian Community Peace Center, Omar Hashim Alkhalaileh.

"We had hoped to hold this activity in Palestine, but visa permits from the Israeli authorities have not been granted," said Yayah Khibtiyah, Secretary of Muhammadiyah's Institute for International Cooperation Relations (LHKI), in a statement on Friday.
