Natuna, Sept. 20 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is developing a digital platform aimed at streamlining services for small business owners across the country.
The app, called SAPA UMKM, will integrate a range of services, including financing, marketing, and business legality support, to boost MSME development nationwide.
Ministry Secretary Arif Rahman Hakim said on Friday that the platform is still under development and is expected to launch its first version in November 2025.
He noted that the app was conceived as a more efficient alternative to traditional survey-based data collection, which is costly and provides outdated information.
