Tangerang, Banten, Feb. 5 -- The planned east-west MRT corridor linking Kembangan and Balaraja is expected to strengthen the regional economic ecosystem and reaffirm Jakarta's role as a global city, Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said on Thursday.
"This cooperation will provide significant benefits for the government, developers, and MRT Jakarta. The project is expected to strengthen the regional economic ecosystem and reaffirm Jakarta's role as a global city," Anung said.
The MRT project marks a historic collaboration between the Jakarta and Banten provincial governments in developing cross-regional mass transportation infrastructure.
