Jakarta, June 26 -- PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) President Director Tuhiyat announced that Phase 2 of the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) project-stretching from Bundaran Hotel Indonesia (HI) Station to Kota Station-has achieved 49 percent completion.

"As of now, the six-kilometer stretch from Bundaran HI to Kota has reached an average progress of around 49 percent," he stated during the 2025 GRC Series event, titled "The Future of Corporate Governance: A Balance Between Power, Purpose, and Principles," held in Jakarta on Thursday.

Tuhiyat explained that tunnel boring has successfully connected segments along the route, with the current efforts focused on linking the Harmoni to Mangga Besar sections.
