Jakarta, May 20 -- Two inmates from the Sukamiskin Correctional Facility of West Java, Firman Santosa and Dimas Candra, shared their positive experiences from participating in the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Program as support personnel.
Santosa was assigned as a rice cook and Candra was responsible for preparing the protein components of the meals.
"I gained new insights, experiences, and friends. I have realized that maintaining health through food is more important than anything else because good health is very expensive," he said in a statement issued by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) here on Tuesday.
He added that the program helped him develop skills that could support his future employment opportunities.
