Jakarta, Nov. 28 -- Minister of National Development Planning Rachmat Pambudy emphasized that Indonesia's food and health development, particularly nutrition, must adopt a more comprehensive approach.

"Several challenges indicate the need for sustainable interventions and governance to transform Indonesia's food and nutrition system. Development in this sector must be more holistic," Pambudy said in a statement here on Friday.

He made this statement during the Kick-Off of the 12th Pre-National Food and Nutrition Workshop themed Transforming Food and Nutrition Systems in Strengthening Free Nutritious Meals (MBG).
