Palu, June 9 -- The Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection (P2MI) Ministry and Alkhairaat University (Unisa) in Palu inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) concerning the governance and protection of Indonesian migrant workers (PMI).

"This cooperation is expected to produce excellent human resources (HR) from Central Sulawesi, who are ready to work abroad with maximum protection and broad opportunities," P2MI Minister Abdul Kadir Karding stated in Palu on Monday.

The cooperation aims to strengthen synergy in developing education, training, and placement of quality, globally competitive migrant workers.
