Jakarta, Sept. 24 -- Deputy Minister of Environment Diaz Hendropriyono stated that his ministry is ready to integrate the environmental curriculum of its environmentally-friendly school program, Adiwiyata, into the government's tuition-free school program, Sekolah Rakyat.
Hendropriyono confirmed here on Wednesday that the curriculum is planned to be integrated under the collaboration of the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Social Affairs.
"The Ministry of Environment has the Adiwiyata program for schools. The ministry is very open to collaborating on this program with Sekolah Rakyat," he said after a visit to two Sekolah Rakyat schools in Bandung, West Java, on Tuesday.
