Jakarta, Jan. 4 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs has begun deploying 1,132 civil servants and cadets to Aceh Tamiang District, Aceh Province, to help expedite recovery efforts following the major floods that struck in November 2025.
Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian saw off the first of three batches of the disaster relief team at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten, on Saturday (January 3), according to a statement released on Sunday.
The team comprises 892 cadets from the Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) and 240 civil servants from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
