Jakarta, Feb. 20 -- The Ministry of Tourism is seeking to make Bali a global center of aesthetics and wellness by improving the quality of human resources and standards of aesthetic and wellness service providers.
"Bali has high potential to become a premium tourist destination for aesthetics and wellness," the Deputy for Destination and Infrastructure Development at the ministry, Hariyanto, said on Thursday.
However, South Korea is still leading in aesthetic and wellness services, he said, adding that Bali also has the potential given that wellness traditions are rooted in the province's culture.
