Jakarta, Oct. 22 -- Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid emphasized that her ministry is seeking to ensure meaningful and inclusive technological development in Indonesia.

"Technology must encourage innovation and create opportunities across the country," she said at the Tech in Asia Conference 2025 here on Wednesday.

According to her, opportunities in the technology sector and digital economy continue to expand.

In this regard, the value of Indonesia's digital economy stood at around US$90 million gross merchandise value (GMV) in 2024 and is projected to increase to US$210 billion-US$360 billion by 2030.
