Indonesia, June 14 -- The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education has launched several new policies to improve the quality of teachers as well as student assessments.
The new policies are aimed at realizing the vision of quality education for all and contributing to human resource development, Primary and Secondary Education Minister Abdul Mu'ti said in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, on Saturday.
"The simplification of teachers' reports has been carried out so that teachers can focus more on the teaching and learning process," he informed.
To improve the competency of teachers, the ministry has implemented several new training programs.
