Jakarta, Dec. 7 -- Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni announced that the ministry has sealed four legal entities suspected of contributing to recent floods and landslides in Sumatra, with eight more entities potentially facing similar action.

"In line with my statement to the House of Representatives, our team has begun law enforcement by sealing four of the 12 legal subjects suspected of violating forestry regulations related to the disaster in Sumatra," he said in a statement on Saturday.

He emphasized that the ministry would take firm legal measures and would not compromise with individuals or groups responsible for forest destruction.
