Jakarta, June 20 -- The Ministry of Social Affairs is refining the concept of Sekolah Rakyat, a residential educational institution that provides round-the-clock support for children from underprivileged families, focusing on character, nutrition, and comprehensive social interaction.

Vice Minister of Social Affairs Agus Jabo Priyono explained that the education system at Sekolah Rakyat integrates formal learning activities with character education, life skills, and intensive psychosocial support.
